This accidental adventure was pretty incredible. I had bouts of missing the walk, but these were lovely cities to ‘rest’ in. And I felt like a literary character who is convalescing in Europe 🙂 When I learned I’d injured myself I was worried I’d feel cheated in some way, but it worked out so well, that it felt more like a gift or an opportunity, and I ever do get the desire to walk that stretch I missed it will be really easy to get back to Reims to do it.
More to come. I wanted to get catch-up because I’m getting back to walking soon!
